Sweet Falsehood

You said you love me.
Then why did you leave me?
You said you’ll catch me every time I fall,
Then why did you just laugh at me at all?

You said you’ll be with me always,
But I haven’t seen you nowadays.
You said you’ll wipe the anguish from my past, 

Then why haven’t you surpassed?

You said you won’t be mischievous,
But why do you sound so enormous?
You said you’ll give me a happy life, 

Then why do I tolerate for strife?

All of this was very sweet,
How ever you always cheat.
I taught that all of this was true,
But one day, you drop by, and said that we are through.
